Brewery Membership

Thank you for your interest in becoming a Brewery Member of the Michigan Brewers Guild. Michigan breweries can join our organization by:

  1. Meeting the requirements outlined below,
  2. Completing an Application for Brewery Membership, and 
  3. Submitting it along with a copy of your brewing license issued by the state of Michigan.

Once your application has been submitted, your brewery will enter into a required 3-month processing period while our staff reviews your documentation and visits your brewery. Pending approval by the board, your Brewery Membership will then become active 3 months after the date upon which you submitted your application.

Requirements

1) A brewery license issued by the state of Michigan
2) Taxable removals*
3) Annual dues - Based on production, starting at $275

*You have produced beer on which you have paid, or plan to pay, excise taxes
