Attend a Beer Festival


January 12-14 @ Grand Traverse Resort, Acme (Traverse City)

The conference - presented by Michigan Brewers Guild, Michigan State University Extension and Master Brewers Association of the Americas (MBAA) District Michigan - includes presentations by experienced professionals from within Michigan as well as from across the national craft beer community. Presentations cover relevant topics focused on the technical aspects of beer production, as well as brewery management and beer sales & marketing. Additional highlights are a Sensory Evaluation Workshop (11am-12:30pm on Wednesday, January 12) and a Great Beer State dinner reception featuring extraordinary presentations of beer and food on Thursday, January 13.

The member rate to attend is $300 per person (non-member rate is $350) through January 3. At that time, late fees will apply.

6:30-11pm: Shuttles into Traverse City including stops at local breweries and Great Lakes Malting Co.

  • Great Lakes Malting Co. Open House – visit this local malthouse for a tour plus food, beverage and entertainment.
  • MBG DE&I Committee Open House – join members of the DE&I Committee for an informal conversation, 7-9 pm (location tbd)
