Winter Beer Festival update
Happy New Year Michigan Beer Fans!
Here are the latest details on the 2nd Annual Winter Beer Festival. It is scheduled for Saturday, February 24th from noon-5pm. Tickets will be $35 in advance and $40 at the gate (if available) which includes 12 drink tokens. They have not yet gone on sale, but we hope to have them available on-line and at member breweries within a week. Keep checking THE MASH for updates. Ticket sales will be cut-off at 2000 so don't hesitate to buy yours once they go on sale.
Registration for breweries was just mailed out this week so we don't have a list of those participating yet. Once breweries begin to register, we will post a list right here on THE MASH. The Festival will take place in Lot #56 at Turner St. and Grand River in Old Town Lansing. The 2007 Winter Fest will also feature a more diverse selection of beer styles for your sampling pleasure.
Attention Brewers Guild Enthusiast Members: you will be permitted to get in the Winter Festival at 11:00 am - 1 hour early! This allows you to sample the beers high on your list before the rest of the crowd gets in.
